香港鑪峯獅子會與脊髓肌肉萎縮症慈善基金合辦的「鑪峯愛心慈善嘉年華 2018」已於2018年5月5日假新界葵芳興盛路90號獅子會中學完滿舉行。是次慈善嘉年華為脊髓肌肉萎縮症慈善基金籌得港幣超過八萬元善款，用作支持基金在援助病患及宣傳教育方面的各種工作。

大會邀得食物及衛生局局長陳肇始教授,太平紳士蒞臨擔任主禮嘉賓，並與本會創辦人及主席霍陳美玲博士、受託人尹美玉女士、國際獅子會中國港澳303區總監陳立德獅兄、香港鑪峯獅子會會長胡志和獅兄及香港鑪峯獅子會第一副會長及大會主席楊雋永獅兄一起主持啟動禮。當日有超過150來自獅子會的有心人士和脊髓肌肉萎縮症慈善基金會員及家屬參與活動。

大會並安排了攤位遊戲、大抽獎、福袋派發及美食，並設有攤位介紹脊髓肌肉萎縮症。所有參加者、會員及家屬都很享受大會的精心安排，其渡過了快樂的一天。在此，我們再一次感謝香港鑪峯獅子會及一眾獅子會會員對本會的慷慨捐款及支持！

‘Lions Club of the Peak Charity Carnival 2018’, (hereinafter referred to as "The Carnival") a charity fundraising event co-organized by the Lions Club of the Peak Hong Kong and Families of SMA Charitable Trust (FSMA) was held on 5 May 2018 at the Lions College located in Kwai Fong. The Carnival had raised over HK$80,000 for FSMA to help the SMA victims and their families and promote public awareness.

The Secretary for Food and Health, Professor Sophia Chan, JP, was the officiating guest and together with our Founder & Chairman, Dr. Mei Ling Fok, Trustee, Ms Ruby Wan, District Governor of Lions Clubs International District 303, Mr. Douglas Chan, President of Lions Club of The Peak Hong Kong, Dr. Wu Chee Wo and 1st Vice President of Lions Club of The Peak Hong Kong to other Lions Clubs members to perform the launching ceremony. Over 150 persons from Lions Clubs and FSMA participated in the Carnival.

The Carnival had arranged game booths, lucky draw, delivery of fortunate bags and delicious lunch buffet for all participants. FSMA members and their families spent a great day and enjoyed the activities. We would like to take this opportunity to thanks the Lions Club of the Peak Hong Kong once again for their generous support and donation.
